Who is 24-7MedCare General Practice (GP) Telehealth service?


24-7MedCare offers quality healthcare services, including secure GP video or telephone consultations.

Appointments are accessible using a smartphone, tablet, computer or telephone which means you can access an appointment wherever you are.

A: The cost of the telehealth service provided by 24-7MedCare is $45 however the service is fully covered by nib under your insurance – with no cost to nib OSHC members.


Q: Can I use this service to get a COVID-19 vaccine?

Q: Is GP Telehealth suitable for all medical problems?


A: Depending on your specific needs, your GP will be able to help determine if a telehealth consultation will be suitable.


Q: When should I visit a hospital emergency department?


A: You should go to a hospital emergency department if you have a major injury or life-threatening illness e.g. chest pains, difficulty breathing or severe blood loss. Call 000 for an ambulance.
